What do the Children Do on Sunday Mornings?

At the 9:15am Worship Service:

Babies, Toddlers and Preschoolers

are invited to our Nursery for loving and happy child care.

Our nursery room is located down the hallway beyond the Youth Room.

Children Grades K-4

At the 9:15am Worship Service: Children leave at Children’s Time to go downstairs with Jodie for fun lessons and activities related to Bible Stories and/or the sermon of the day.

7-6-5 Alive!

5^th, 6^th and 7^th graders during the 9:15 worship: This group gets to go to the Youth Room for lessons and activities with the team of 7-6-5 Teachers.

Tuesday Evening Dinners

Yummy low cost dinners are served for our choir families

from 5pm to 6:00pm every Tuesday.

Every other Tuesday is Pizza Night

BACKPACKS NEEDED FOR LIKONI, KENYA

Have an extra backpack or two? We are gathering as many gently used (or new) backpacks for the children of the Madaraka School in Likoni, Kenya. If you would like to help our friends over there, please bring your backpacks and we will send them over the oceans.  Thrift store backpacks, last year’s backpacks, backpacks from tradeshows and other publicity giveaways… All are welcome! Thank you!!

APRIL IS CHILDREN’S MISSION MONTH

The theme for this year is WATER.

Last year you gave almost $7,000 to the Hatua-Likoni School and Orphanage

In 2008, you gave over $10,000 to Heifer International

The expansive generosity of this church is life changing!

Our children are learning that, no matter how young, no matter how small, we all can do what Jesus told us to do: help when others are suffering.

Starting in April, with our Maundy Thursday dinner we will be asking you to help us provide WATER to people, families & communities.

More than a billion people worldwide lack clean water, and more than 2.1 million people most of them children die each year from waterborne disease. 

Water cannot be taken for granted.

The money you contribute to the Federated Children’s Mission, will help Church World Service in the “Water for All”  program AND the United Methodist relief agency (UMCOR) with their “Clean Water Project for Haiti”

Anonymous Questions… can they be answered?

Every couple of weeks we receive an anonymous question in the offering basket.

We’re not sure why this happens… because WE LOVE QUESTIONS
