We love the children! Children are a big part of our faith family. They flourish when they are invited to participate and serve along with adults in worship and other aspects of church life. Lessons for children focus on the life of Jesus, His love for us and for the whole world. In our classrooms downstairs, following the "Godly Play" method of learning, we have age-appropriate activities that will help them remember the important stories of Jesus.
Children are invited to participate in these activities as well as many others:
Annual Children's Mission
Bread and Juice with Jesus on Maundy Thursday
First Sunday "Engage Sunday" setting the table and staying in Sanctuary for entire service
Candle Lighting and Acolyte Duties
Babies and Toddlers: We have a "Family Comfort Room" adjacent to the sanctuary with a changing table, comfortable seating, and a TV where the live worship service is broadcast. We have fun and loving child care for toddlers in Room 4 downstairs.
