Children's Ministries
Compassion Camp 2023
Children are a big part of our faith family. They flourish when they are invited to participate and serve along with adults in worship and other aspects of church life. Lessons for children focus on the life of Jesus, His love for us and for the whole world. In our classrooms downstairs, following the "Godly Play" method of learning, we have age-appropriate activities that will help them remember the important stories of Jesus.
We invite everyone to start each Sunday in the Sanctuary to sing and pray together. There is always a children's space in the front of the Church for the kiddos to draw and play. After we 'Pass the Peace', the kids are invited to the front to participate in 'Children's Time'. Then toddlers through 5th graders can come to the Little Lamb's Room or the Godly Play Room for story time, art, and play.
Kids are always WELCOME here and we are happy to listen to their voices during
the entire Sunday service if you would like to keep them with you in the Sanctuary.

Ages 18months-4 years are in the Little Lambs Room with Ms. Stephanie. This lovely and welcoming evironment will be the favorite part of your little one's week. Stories, art, and play create community for even our youngest family members.
Ages 5 years old to 5th grade are in the Godly Play Room with Ms. Amanda. Godly Play is a wonderful way to teach and learn the stories of our Faith. This bright and engaging room belongs to the kids and they love to do art, play 'church', and learn the stories.
Family Comfort Room: Your sweet babies, toddlers, and kids are always welcome to stay and enjoy worship with us in the Sanctuary; walking up the aisles, sharing their voices, and feeling their feels. However, if they (or you) ever feel overstimulated and wish to enjoy a quiet moment in our 'Family Comfort Room' the service is also streamed into this room.
Children are invited to participate in these activities as well as many others:
- Lighting the candle, pouring the water, delivering the cross each Sunday.
- First Sunday "Engage Sunday" setting the table and staying in Sanctuary for entire service
- Annual Children's Mission
- Summer VBS
- Blessing of the Animals in Septermber
- Trunk or Treat
- Advent Preperation
- Christmas Eve Service
