10 Great Dates …  Adult couples are invited to ‘recharge’ their relationships through conversations, connection and creativity! Gather at Federated for 10 Friday evenings STARTING AUGUST 7th, watch a 20 minute DVD, leave the kids, and go “out on a date of your choosing” and enjoy conversation with your partner.

IDEAS FOR GREAT DATES!

 

Bringing Baby Home… for expectant and new parents!  Strengthen your marriage at one of the most challenging times of a relationship!  The workshops for couples starts on Saturday August 15th and continues the 29th and Sept. 19th from 9-2 and is taught by Angie Crow, Certified BBH instructor and a Federated Preschool teacher.  Cost per couple will be a total of $120 ($40 for workbooks and $80 to cover childcare.)

Children & Families Programs at Federated Church

 We warmly welcome children and families to feel comfortable and at-home in worship, childcare, classes, choirs and activities.  Children are a beloved part of our family worship.

Summer Sundays

Activities and lessons continue all summer for children through 4th Grade.

5th/6th/7th Classes take the summer off.

Kids in 5th and 6th Grade are welcome to come downstairs to help the younger children and participate in our lesson time together.

Federated’s Farmers Market is back!

 

BEANS and GREENS.  ZUCCHINIS,PORCINIS, AND PEPPERONCINIS!!!”

 

Beginning July 5th and continuing through the end of September, healthy, home grown veggies and beautiful flowers donated by Federated’s gifted gardeners will be available for just a donation on Sunday mornings. If your garden is bountiful this year (as Dick hopes his will be), bring in your extra veggies and flowers anytime before the 11:00 worship service and share the great taste of freshness. Proceeds go to the Hope Community Garden fund to buy tools, equipment, compost, etc. Any produce left over, and 10 percent of the proceeds is donated to SHARE food closet.

Summer Sun and Fun Health Tips!

 

·        Apply sunscreen SPF 45 or more anytime you will be outside

·        Hang a wide brimmed hat near the door and grab it as you go out.  A coat-rack can hold hats for everyone in the family!

·        Drink plenty of water and avoid sodas and sugar or artificially sweetened drinks.  Add a small amount of natural fruit juice to water for flavor if needed.

·        Bring a small first-aid kit on the hike, bike, sport and boating outings!

·        Rest and relax.

Summer Youth Group Wednesdays

7:00-8:30 p.m.

 

Junior and Senior High Youth will continue to meet together this summer.

 

Join us for fun and fellowship, and special outings or events this summer. Keep an eye out for weekly email announcements or if you don’t do email, make sure to pick up an announcement sheet every Sunday!
