Compassion Camp 2026
Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Free of Charge
June 17–20, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Compassion Camp is a welcoming space where children can explore questions about life and faith while being fully accepted, valued, and loved for who they are. Through engaging activities, connection, and play, campers discover compassion—for themselves, for others, and for the world around them.
People of all backgrounds and perspectives come together to explore life’s big questions, practice compassion, and engage meaningfully with the world.
Each day is filled with music, dancing, and singing, along with meaningful Bible stories shared through the Godly Play approach. Children will also enjoy outdoor games, creative arts and crafts, and nutritious snacks.
Intergenerational Saturday: Bring your whole family to camp!

Children are a vibrant and valued part of our faith community. We believe they grow best when they are welcomed as active participants—joining in worship, serving alongside adults, and engaging fully in church life.
Using the Godly Play approach, we offer age-appropriate, hands-on experiences that help children connect with and remember meaningful stories of Jesus and His love for all people.
Each Sunday, families begin together in the Sanctuary for music and prayer. A dedicated children’s area is always available for drawing and quiet play. After the Passing of the Peace, children are invited to participate in Children’s Time. Following that, toddlers through 5th graders may head to the Little Lambs Room or Godly Play for storytelling and play.

Children ages 5 through 5th grade gather in the Godly Play Room with our trained storytellers and helpers. Godly Play offers a meaningful and engaging way to experience the stories of our faith. In this bright, welcoming space, children enjoy creative art, imaginative “church” play, and learning the sacred stories that shape our tradition.
Family Comfort Room: Babies, toddlers, and children are welcome to remain in the Sanctuary. If you or your child need a quieter space at any time, our Family Comfort Room offers a calm environment where you can continue to follow the service via livestream.
Children are invited to take part in many meaningful roles and seasonal activities throughout the year, including:
- Lighting the candle, pouring the water, and carrying the cross each Sunday
- First Sunday “Engage Sunday,” when children help set the table and remain in the Sanctuary for the entire service
- Compassion Camp
- Trunk or Treat
- Advent preparation activities
- Cocoa and Carols
- Christmas Eve service
