Presbyterian Foundation Endowments
The Presbyterian Foundation was established in 1799 as an entity to safeguard the long-term financial interests of the Presbyterian Church. The foundation remains focused on the Reformed values that have guided stewardship and investment for more than 200 years. El Dorado County Federated Church has three endowments held by the Presbyterian Foundation, which are permanent assets of the foundation; however, quarterly dividends are designated for use by Federated Church. When the proceeds are received, they are deposited into dedicated accounts specific to each endowment for disbursement by Church Council as needed.
Walter & Elsie Allington Memorial Fund
This endowment was established in 2001 by Roger Allington in memory of his parents, Walter and Elsie Allington, long-time members of Federated Church. This gift was given to the Presbyterian Foundation, with the proceeds designated for Federated Church. The use of the proceeds is unrestricted. Donations can be made to the Presbyterian Foundation through their online giving portal. To contribute to the Allington fund, click here.
