Federated Church Women

As Federated Church Women, we commit ourselves to:
  • Know God and experience the freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ
  • Build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Church and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom
  • Support the mission of the church in the community, the nation and the world
  • Work for justice and peace.
  • Listening for God's calling and then  responding with all their resources and have a good time while doing so.
​Monthly Schedule:
FCW will host Coffee Cafe every second Sunday of the month.
General Meetings:  Stay tuned for information about the next General gathering. 
FCW Board Meetings:   Stay tuned for more information coming this fall 
FCW Circle Meetings:  FCW groups will begin meeting monthly in September.
  • Esther Circle meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 1 PM. 
  • Hannah Circle meets at 1 PM on the third Thursday of the month.  
  • Rebekah Circle meets on the third Wednesday of the month at ​10 AM. 
  • Sarah Circle meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 9:30 AM.     
  • A Friendship Zoom Circle” generally meets on the third ​Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM.  Contact Sharon Fraser at [email protected] to receive the Zoom link.

​Dorcas Mission Outreach:  Federated Church members and friends work on varied mission projects, generally on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Contact Margaret Huston at [email protected] for more information.

FCW generates an annual income of approximately $8,000 to $10,000 annually through individual pledges and fundraisers.  The entire yearly amount generated benefits church, local, and international mission efforts, as well as responding to needs as presented in our community, minus operating expenses.

FCW provides, but is not limited to:
  • Scholarships for Federated Church college-bound seniors
  • Support of Nomadic Shelter guests
  • Bags for UMCOR school kits
  • Blankets for Federated Preschool children
  • Lap robes for convalescing Federated church members
  • Bible classes at Gold Country Retirement Center
  • Tables for use in Price Hall
  • Contributions to Federated Church budget programs
  • Contributions to Pastor's discretionary fund​
