Shelter & Emergency Housing Ministries
Federated Church helps provide shelter and emergency housing in partnership with these community organizations:
HELP (Housing Emergency Lodging Program) provides a roof and assistance to those who find themselves in immediate need of housing for their family, and helps them get back on their feet. Opportunities for volunteers are two-fold: either as a Mentor to families housed in the HELP house, or as a Placement person, who secures a motel room for one or two nights.
If you have questions or are interested in the HELP program, please email JoAnn LePere.

Nomadic Shelter provides sleeping space in a variety of West Slope churches during the winter months. Federated Church volunteers staff weekly overnights and breakfasts each Saturday/Sunday from November through March. Additional volunteers and donations of snacks and breakfast goodies are appreciated.
